How do they endure it?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

It must be horrible.

Many of the younger people don't even remember days when most places, cars, etc. did NOT have A/C. Some of us old-timers do and even though we did not hit what India is experiencing, it was very uncomfortable for most in the July and August timeframes.

As the article told also, the water problem is becoming a real problem in India as well. Besides becoming scarce, pollution has been a long term problem as well. The Ganges has a pristine origin but till it reaches its final destination it is anything but. Here is a recent article about that as well.

Is India facing its worst-ever water crisis?

You get the feeling that india, and China as well are approaching an environmental breaking point.
