There are so many things that can be discussed about the character of both Trump and Clinton, and we are talking about golf?  Golf?

 

 
No, the character of a person who wants to be president. But, I guess these days we expect our politicians to cheat.

I understand that character is important. I guess I just don't see golf, a meaningless pass-time as the best place to look.
All I need to know about character is on full display by the man each day.
I mean, just this week he suggested that a political opponent's father was somehow involved with the assassin of JFK. I could go on,,,,,

So I assume if you are bothered by a story such as this, there is no way you would support Hillary Clinton, with all the character issues she has had over the years?  Especially since those issues revolved around things in politics and not what amounts to a casual round of golf.

 
Personally I am very disappointed with the leading candidates put forth by both major political parties. Both Drumpf and Clinton lack some of the character traits I would like to see in an acceptable representative of the people in government, let alone a person running for president of the U.S.

I was not 'bothered' by the de la Hoya - Drumpf golfing story. In fact, I found it amusing. The same way I find it amusing that the story shows a guy like Drumpf is fine with making his own rules, to suit his own desires, on his own golf course. Kinda like Willie Nelson, but Willie does it in a self deprecating way.

Look, there's enough negativism going around in this campaign . . . as I said before, more vitriolic personal charges lodged at opponents than any campaign I can recall . . . So, when I see something that injects a little bit of what I consider humor into this otherwise destructive process, I choose to share it.

In the end, it looks like either Clinton or Drumpf will be elected by the voters and we'll have to live with their presidency, warts and all. I just hope the government begins to cooperate, collaborate, and compromise among the various branches to get things done for the benefit of the people of the U.S., not just for their party or their own personal interests. But, with the current leading candidates, I'm not too optimistic.
