Re: You can't make this stuff up

Can someone help me out with this?

Yes, I think I can, CT. Donald Trump is one of them.  He's a celebrity.  Really, do you think a celebrity gives a rat's carcass who is elected president?  Many of them will live very well no matter who gets elected.  For the ones rongone cited, it's just a game and a future invitation to some White House soiree.

Seriously, does it matter to Mike Tyson, Terrell Owens, Hulk Hogan, or Willie Robertson gets elected?  Shit no!  Besides, I really couldn't tell you who on rongone's list is smarter than anyone else that contributes to this Exchange.

Well, while most of them are lacking cerebral acuity, there are a few on the list that actually are pretty smart. Ann Coulter is one of them. I don't care for her or her views, but she IS smart.

It's not only conservative political pundits are that are getting behind Drumpf, which is curious in itself because he's pretty far from being a conservative, although it's hard to pin down exactly what he is on the political spectrum, but apparently the Donald has a bunch of celebrity types that support him.

Here’s who in Hollywood supports Donald Trump:

Jon Voight

Kid Rock

Willie Robertson

Azealia Banks

Gary Busey

Jesse Ventura

Loretta Lynn

Teresa Giudice

Tila Tequila

Stephen Baldwin

Mike Tyson

Terrell Owens

John Rocker

Jesse James

Wayne Newton

Mike Ditka

Ivana Trump

Ann Coulter

Dennis Rodman

Hulk Hogan

Lou Ferrigno

Aissa Wayne

Joe Arpaio

Scott Baio

Kirstie Alley

Who says the dems have a stranglehold on the far left Hollywood types.

Man, if I'd have known earlier that these celebrity heavyweights (I mean Kirstie Alley was a celebrity spokesperson for Jenny Craig) were in favor of Drumpf, I might have taken his candidacy a little more seriously.

I didn't know John Rocker was/is in Hollywood.  I'm not even sure he counts as a celebrity.

Re: You can't make this stuff up

Well, I was on fence until I saw that Scott Baio was on board.

Seriously, Celebrity endorsements have always left me bemused.
Even if I like the guy, like his work, why would who he supports for president effect me in the least?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
