You can't make this stuff up

Or can you?

Just when you thought these accusations between Drumpf & Damien couldn't get more ridiculous, they come up with another one.

Donald Trump goes after Ted Cruz's father, linking him to JFK's assassin

Donald Trump took several swings Tuesday morning at Sen. Ted Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz — even linking him to President John F. Kennedy's assassin.
Speaking by telephone with "Fox and Friends" on Tuesday, Trump took issue with Cruz's father's recent suggestion to an audience of Christian voters in Indiana that a presidency by Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, "could be the destruction of America."

"I think it's a disgrace that he's allowed to do it," Trump said. "I think that it's a disgrace that he's allowed to say it."

He continued: "It's disgraceful that his father can go out there and do that, and so many people are angry."

Trump also pushed back against the elder Cruz's pitch to evangelical voters in which he pointed out high-profile endorsements from figures like Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr.

During Tuesday's interview, Trump also sought to undermine Rafael Cruz's legitimacy by parroting a dubious National Enquirer story. The story claimed Rafael Cruz was photographed in the early 1960s handing out pro-Fidel Castro leaflets with President John F. Kennedy's assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald.

The Enquirer has established a reputation for sensational stories that occasionally make their way into the political mainstream, such as when it broke the story of the John Edwards affair. The publication has endorsed Trump in this election cycle while publishing a series of suspect stories critical of the Texas senator, including one that Cruz accused of being fomented by Trump's "henchmen."

The Cruz campaign has called the National Enquirer story involving Rafael Cruz "garbage."

Trump's comments came the day of the Indiana primary, in which he is looking to score a knockout blow against Cruz. Though Cruz has campaigned hard in the Hoosier State, most recent polls show Trump with a significant lead.

Re: You can't make this stuff up

But wait!  We now have this, as Cruz counter-punches back:

Ted Cruz went on a blistering ramble against Donald Trump on Tuesday, delivering a list of stinging personal attacks that included calling the GOP frontrunner a "serial philanderer," "pathological liar" and a "narcissist."

"Donald Trump is a serial philanderer and he boasts about it," Cruz said. "This is not a secret, he is proud of being a serial philanderer...Describes his battles with venereal diseases as his own personal Vietnam.

"
The Texas senator also echoed an attack used by Hillary Clinton, saying Trump is afraid of strong women and is a "bully" to females.

Handing out leaflets with Oswald?
Heck, that's nothing.
I hear that Donald has pictures of Hillary Clinton on the grassy knoll!

Re: You can't make this stuff up

It's been fun watching the destruction of the modern republican party, literally brick by brick.

More importantly, I really think we're going to see the jettisoning of a lot of characters from the party once the election is over.

People like Hannity, Coulter, Palin, O'Reilly, Drudge. The majority of conservative talk radio hosts and the far right conspiratorial blogosphere could very well be turned away. In it's place, I think we'll have a more Buckley, less Beck. More Lincoln, less Levin.

In short, I think the nation's politics may be better off in the long run if we get back to having a more sane Republican Party.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

That WOULD be great, but I am in kind of a wait-and-see on that !

I'm visualizing two small children at recess yelling at each-other.

The rest of the world is probably in pain from laughing so hard at us.

I'll have what he's drinking.

Hey Lager, from your lips to God's ears.
I'm concerned that we haven't reached the bottom yet. Let's hope you are right.

Re: You can't make this stuff up

It's not only conservative political pundits are that are getting behind Drumpf, which is curious in itself because he's pretty far from being a conservative, although it's hard to pin down exactly what he is on the political spectrum, but apparently the Donald has a bunch of celebrity types that support him.

Here’s who in Hollywood supports Donald Trump:

Jon Voight

Kid Rock

Willie Robertson

Azealia Banks

Gary Busey

Jesse Ventura

Loretta Lynn

Teresa Giudice

Tila Tequila

Stephen Baldwin

Mike Tyson

Terrell Owens

John Rocker

Jesse James

Wayne Newton

Mike Ditka

Ivana Trump

Ann Coulter

Dennis Rodman

Hulk Hogan

Lou Ferrigno

Aissa Wayne

Joe Arpaio

Scott Baio

Kirstie Alley

Who says the dems have a stranglehold on the far left Hollywood types.

Man, if I'd have known earlier that these celebrity heavyweights (I mean Kirstie Alley was a celebrity spokesperson for Jenny Craig) were in favor of Drumpf, I might have taken his candidacy a little more seriously.

This is just bizarre.

I don't understand the attraction.

Is this an emotional thing?

Can someone help me out with this?
