Burn ban issued for 6 communities in York
Residents are asked not to burn anything outside in Conewago, Hellam, York, Felton, Windsor and Dover Townships.A controlled fire in Paradise Township spread to a house and caused $250,000 in damage on Wednesday.- See that story hereThe ban was issued because of dry conditions and increased vegetation.They will remain in effect until further notice.
