If we reach the magic GOP convention date and the 1,237 delegates required to lock up the GOP nomination by June it means the party would arrive for its July convention without a presumptive nominee for the first time since Ronald Reagan challenged the incumbent President Gerald Ford in 1976.
7 things you need to know about a contested convention

Guess how many delegate votes Drumpf has right now . . .
If you guessed 666 . . . You'd be right.
Coincidence . . . I think not.
No wonder Damien is so angry.

Right now there is likely no one who can catch Trump. That said, however, when you look at the delegate count it is NOT a BLOWOUT. Trump has about 662 and Cruz about 408. There are another about 326 delegates that have awarded between Kasich and the others who have already dropped out. So even though it appears no one candidate can catch Trump on the delegate total. It certainly is NOT over yet as it appears Trump may NOT make the magic number. When we get to the convention it is ALL ABOUT DELEGATE COUNT and after the first round if no one makes it, then it is kind of all bets are off.

Thanks for posting tennyson. It's going to be one exciting convention if no one has the 1237!

Yep. Back in the good 'ol days when conventions were exciting to watch.

Does ANYONE have a site that shows the actual total votes received in the Primaries by contender(s). Most sites have totals only on delegates (which the conventions obviously care about), but just how close (or not) are the ACTUAL vote counts ?? If anyone has it, please post the site ! Thanks.

Sounds like you (or your ?) have a personal problem. Try to work it out on your (or you ?) own.
