Well,if you do then you should be happy about the chart below which talked about in the MarketWatch article. Presidents like to crow when the economy is good and hide when it is bad. We DID have things that got fixed after the 2008 meltdown that were needed, BUT there are still others that need to be fixed that could endanger further recovery.
But, for now, IF you are like most and have a 401K that is supporting your existing or upcomming retirement be thankful for the history of financial gains for your investments.

BTW, this is ALSO good news for private and public pensions that do a lot of their investing in the market as well.
