11.5% of Syria's population has been killed or injured

Since the war started, 11.5% of Syrians have been killed or injured, the report says, according to the Guardian=19.2px. Some 13.8 million Syrians have lost their means of earning a living. Altogether 45% of the prewar population has been forced to move — including more than 4 million who have fled the country and 6.36 million displaced within Syria.

An epic humanitarian crisis.

The photo's and videos from Syria are stunning. Entire cities bombed and people starving.
This has created the mass migration into Europe. A disaster of epic scale.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”
