This is a big endorsement for Sanders. The negative rap that he gets is he can only win "white" states.
Former NAACP head to endorse Bernie Sanders
Ben Jealous, the former head of the NAACP, will endorse Bernie Sanders, a source familiar with the campaign told CNN.The endorsement is a potential boost to Sanders who has struggled to gain traction among African-American voters, though he has made small gains on Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton, according to recent polls.
Jealous joins a list of prominent African-Americans who have endorsed Sanders, among them Nina Turner, a former Ohio state legislator, Rep. Keith Ellison and Cornel West.

Despite Bernie's good stances and work for minorities, he still polls remarkably well behind Clinton in minority support. I DO expect that at least with the young minorities that this may be a big deal. Unfortunately if Bernie cannot translate endorsements like this into real votes in those states where it will make a difference, this will be the "last dance" for Bernie because of his age in his ability to mount and wage a meaningful Presidential race.

It is a boost, no denying that.
But, who is the current head of the NAACP endorsing?

I think a lot of people will miss that about endorsement. It certainly gained a lot of press which is a lot of what politics is all about anyway.
