Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is a “natural born citizen,” according to the Illinois Board of Elections. The state’s BOE ruled that Cruz met the citizenship criteria to appear on the state’s primary ballot.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

So, they found that "Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen having been born in Canada to a mother who was a US citizen at the time of his birth."
OK. That's fine. I have no objections to Cruz's eligibility. I get it.
But, it does leave me scratching my head over the birther controversy associated with the sitting president.
Barack Obama's mother was born in Kansas and was an American citizen.
So, it now is clear that it never mattered at all if Obama was born in Hawaii (which he was), or Kenya, or anywhere else.
What was going on there?
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

It is called the art of dirty politics (and there is PLENTY to go around for a susceptible voting herd). Just take a look at the one who has been just one of the vocal points for BOTH of the attacks. The Don himself. Says a LOT, does it not ?

I'll echo Tennyson's post.
Trump knows that Cruz is a citizen. But, that's what the guy does .......... he throws lots of poop up against the wall knowing that some will stick. He simply casts doubt among some voters about an opponent. I don't think we've seen anything yet. Just wait. The bigger the threat, the more poop will be thrown. It doesn't matter if any of it is based on fact.
