Letter: Wolf and Wagner should debate in York

This would be a great debate. Wish it would happen.

Letter: Wolf and Wagner should debate in York

It’s quite obvious that Wolf and Wagner are antagonists as regards the budget.

Bring them together face to face

It’s quite obvious that Wolf and Wagner are antagonists as regards the budget. A major sticking point seems to be an increase in education funding.

As a taxpayer, I would like to know the following: Why is it so important to have such a high increase? If granted, where will the money go? How will the money be used? What specifically will it be used for? Lastly, how is this designed to improve education for the students of the commonwealth?I think those of us who are funding public education deserve answers to these legitimate questions.

A simple solution, since both reside in the York area and are accountable to their constituents, bring them together face to face in an open forum before the public and have them defend their individual positions, allowing the public to question both.

I would hope that the YDR could make this happen since you seem to have a pipeline to the governor's office and have a stake in this as you have consistently defended his position. I would be more than willing to assist in this effort. I would also appreciate the result of your efforts to make this happen. It's time for everyone involved to put up or shut up or continue the charade.

We need to fire the entire lot of them.

Unfortunately, our State and it lack of bipartisanship is just a microcosm of what we see nationally.
