Who Do Republicans Hate More Than Trump?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Who Do Republicans Hate More Than Trump?

Some recent history: Last year Cruz goes on a 21 hour rant and shuts down the government, now he wants to be president ? Isn't it crazy that a guy that professes to hate the government wants to be president ? Are we in the twilight zone or what ?

Reagan would be rolling over in his grave if he saw the status of the current GOP !

I agree, Trader.  Both of us have brought this up before.  Basically, the whole tribe keeps telling us how government doesn't work, they hate government, government is the problem, blah, blah, blah.  And yet they are trying so hard to get their guys elected to prove it.  It's nuts.

Re: Who Do Republicans Hate More Than Trump?

Establishment Republican's hate Cruz.

He does have decent support from registered republican voters as seen in many polls

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.): Women, evangelicals and older voters

As many a political reporter has noted in the past few days, Ted Cruz has managed a pretty substantial climb in the polls in recent weeks. He claimed 15 percent of Republican-leaning registered voters in the most recent Washington Post-ABC News poll.

And as The Washington Post has reported, some combination of three things — a technology-enabled, rich understanding of Republican voters, a shrewd campaign strategy that includes efforts to avoid alienating as many Trump fans as possible, and the downward slide of retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson — help to explain the change.Cruz is strongest with women, white evangelical Protestants, people over the age of 50 and those who identified themselves as conservatives.
