WASHINGTON—Mike Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, has told the Federal Bureau of Investigation and congressional officials investigating the Trump campaign’s potential ties to Russia that he is willing to be interviewed in exchange for a grant of immunity from prosecution,
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

To quote Mr. Flynn himself when he testified before a congressional committee about Hillary Clinton's use of a personal server:
"When you are given immunity, that means that you have probably committed a crime," Flynn said during the interview.

Someone should bring that up right off the bat and ask him if he meant what he said. "Mr. Flynn, a simple 'yes' or 'no' will do, thank you."

To be fair, it would be a dereliction of duty if Flynn's lawyer didn't ask for immunity for his client before going into something as politically thorny as a congressional hearing about Russia and the 2016 election.
And my guess is the reason Flynn wants immunity is because the one rap he would need to beat after testifying to Congress would be perjury.
Hence, the reason the Senate denied his request.
