Here's what I understand to be a comparison of the Mall at the time of inauguration (noon) between 2009 and 2017.
2009 on top. 2017 on bottom.
At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. But interesting to compare and contrast.

Agree with you 100%.
Seems like a petty attempt to show Trump is not as popular as Obama was when he took office, which we all knew.
In the end, this doesn't matter at all.
