Jimmy Bear's Tales of York » Great Horned Owl Cam » 2/13/2015 1:16 am |
Yes, this is really awesome and thanks to night vision photography you can observe it all night which is good considering owls are nocturnal. It is so neat to see the pure white fluffy babies and watch the mother feed them. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for sharing this positive story about Christian Faith in action. God bless, protect and guide these Sisters. This is just one of many many Christian groups who are making a difference today and have made the difference in the past 2,000 years.
Economics » Gas Prices » 2/05/2015 9:33 am |
Gas prices have been increasing here this week. Quite a few Rutter's stores have increased from $2.09 To $2.19. A few Sheetz stores are still at $2.09. I was in Lancaster yesterday and a saw gas for $2.29. It looks like the prices are starting the upward trend. Excuse given -- this is the time of year refineries begin switching over to a spring -- summer blend of gasoline.

Again I have to thank you Florentine for the most wonderful live webcam I think I ever watched. It has been such a delight viewing this on full screen mode. I have seen both eagles in the nest many times, Sometimes it looks like the one eagle is staring me right in my eyes. I have seen them eat prey, I have seen them rebuilding their nest, I have seen them soar into and out of their nest. I can't wait to see the female lay her eggs and hatch them. The camera angle is perfect and the clarity and high definition is superb. If anyone has not viewed these eagles yet, you owe it to yourself to see this on full screen mode. I am recopying Florentin's link here ---

This whole gross thing may backfire. We must remember that the pilot was a Muslim and he came from a rather moderate state - Jordan. It appears that this despicable act may have united all the political tribes in Jordan and perhaps in much of the moderate Middle East to take more intense military action against ISIS.

For starters, why don't we knock out their satalites, disconnect them from the internet, stop them from recruiting and planning their horrors. Take out their power plants and infrastructure. We have to know where their strongholds are or else we have the worse intelligence in the world.
I agree with you Florentine!

Beautiful arts and crafts -- Joan and Florentine. Arts and crafts are not for women only. Although I don't do as much as I used to, I do make Heritage Wreaths(pine cones, nuts, etc.), occasionally make hand dipped candles and rolled beeswax candles and homemade jeweled Christmas tree balls. I am not sure how to upload a photo, When I figure it out, I will try put a picture here. Thanks for sharing.

Publicizing your atrocities never works out in the end for any one person or organization.
ISIS is writing it's own death warrant with each unjustified murder it carries out.
That said, for everyone who says we need to deal with this, they must remember that means an additional loss of U.S. servicemembers, it means in an age of cries for tax cuts, we'd be adding to the debt to pay for the destruction of ISIS, and when it's all said and done, there may just be some other group in line, waiting to take their place.
There is no easy answer for all of this and I'm glad I don't have to come up with the decisions on what to do.
I agree with all your insight, however, if left unchecked there is coming a day of reckoning when it may be too late for any of us!

Wow! I just saw the two eagles in the nest. It looks like the one - probably the female, was re-doing the sticks in the nest and the soft grass bedding. It almost looks like she may be ready to lay eggs. I am not sure when eagles lay their eggs, but I am looking forward to seeing them hatch their eggs. What a wonderful site to behold. What a blessing to see this live! Use your full screen mode. Technology can be really great -- it allows us to see things live that we would never see otherwise! Thank you, Florentine, for sharing this wonderful webcam site.
