The New Exchange / The Republican Party is Now Extinct

I caught some of the Trump address at CPAC. The Conservative Political Action Committee is now extinct. It's now TPAC .............. the Trump Political Action Committee. Full of lies, miss-directions, half-truths, and innuendo. And, of course chants of "Lock Her Up."

I never imagined it would be so easy to jettison democracy for authoritarian governing. It shows how fragile democracy really is. All you really need is an under-informed populace and a celebrity reality show star.

Trump's "performance" at CPAC is an embarrassment to the Office of the President of the United States.

Not only is the Republican party extinct, but the conservative movement has come to an end.

The Trump party is now anti-law enforcement, pro Russia, pro autocrat, anti-human rights, anti muslim, anti immigrant, anti-environment, anti-fiscal responsibility cult of personality. Reagan would not recognize it.

Conservatism has been replaced with a tawdry nationalism, and creeping fascism.
