President Trump is insisting on decorum (behavior in keeping with good taste and propriety) from reporters while they are in the White House. Yes, the White House is an iconic structure, steeped in our nation's history. Everyone in the building should behave in such a way as to not sully the reputation of the structure.
Of course, one is tempted to roll one's eyes when the President, who recently insulted the porn star that he had an extra marital affair with by calling her 'horse face', expresses concern about a lack of decorum at the White House.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
