Yea, That's Fox

In less than 24 hours I learned;
that we defeated the Japanese communists in WWII,
and that Aretha Franklin is Patti Labelle.

What will Fox teach us tomorrow? Perhaps we will recall that awesome Christmas night  when Robert E Lee crossed the Delaware and defeated the Romans at Trenton.

Fox News Honors Aretha Franklin With Photo Of Patti Labelle

Fox News has issued an apology about the memorial error with Aretha Franklin and Pattie LaBelle. Jessica Santostefano, Vice President of the network’s news desk claims Franklin was in the photo with LaBelle.

“We sincerely apologize to Aretha Franklin’s family and friends. Our intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret.” Santostefano said.

While reporting on her death for America’s Newsroom, the segment memorializing Franklin ended with the caption, “Aretha Franklin, Singer, 1942-2018.” What fans quickly noticed was a photo of LaBelle in the back to reflect Aretha’s singing chops. The picture stems from LaBelle’s 2014 performance of “Over The Rainbow” for former President Barack Obama. The legendary musician was also in attendance and birthed one of the shadiest moves of all time when she brushed passed LaBelle.

‘Fox & Friends’ Host Recalls That Time The U.S. ‘Defeated Communist Japan’

Bonafide patriot woman and “Fox & Friends” middle-seat host Ainsley Earhardt made an oopsie during a Thursday morning rallying cry for America when she made reference to the never-existent “communist Japan.”

Earhardt had been reacting to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s claim that America “was never that great.” The governor on Wednesday had directed the criticism at President Donald Trump’s “Make American Great Again” campaign while he was at a bill signing in Manhattan.

Cuomo’s comment did not sit well with some politicians on both sides of the aisle, and certainly not with Earhardt.

“You know, we defeated communist Japan, radical Islamists. We ask our men and women to go overseas to fight for our country and sacrifice so much for our country so we can be the land of the free, the land of the brave,” the host said.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
