Jamie Allman lands himself in hot water with tweet about hot poker
St. Louis radio and TV personality Jamie Allman has landed in hot water with a tweet about his desire to assault Parkland student David Hogg with a hot poker.
Hogg has been a subject of criticism from pro-gun rights advocates since he and other Parkland students began speaking out and organizing rallies. The students are advocating for stronger gun laws after 19-year-old gunman Nikolas Cruz took the lives of 17 people at the school.
Allman's Twitter account is now "locked," which means anyone who wants to see his tweets first has to request his permission to follow him.
A screenshot of the controversial tweet, sent at 9:56 p.m. on March 26, began making its way around social media this week and was the subject of a story in the Riverfront Times, the St. Louis alt-weekly, on Friday.
In the tweet, Allman wrote:
"I've been hanging out getting ready to ram a hot poker up David Hogg's ass tomorrow." The context for his comment was unclear.
Response to Allman's tweet has caused several businesses — including a Ruth's Chris Steak House franchisee, The Gellman Team and PALM Health — to pull advertising from Allman's show on conservative talk radio station KFTK (97.1 FM), according messages posted on Twitter by the companies on Friday and Saturday.

Remember This guy is an NRA board member
Ted Nugent Calls for Shooting “Half of Our Government”
President Donald Trump’s favorite conspiracy theorist Alex Jones recently sat down with Ted Nugent—the rock guitarist and NRA board member who was invited to the White House for a bizarre photo-op last year—for a conversation on the “true, America-hating” evil found in gun control advocates.
The two are seen rabidly discussing the renewed, unprecedented calls for restricting the sales of firearms, when Nugent starts comparing Democrats to “rabid coyotes” that deserve to be shot.
“Just know that evil, dishonesty, and scam artists have always been around and that right now they’re liberal, they’re Democrat, they’re RINOs, they’re Hollywood, they’re fake news, they’re media, they’re academia, and they’re half of our government, at least,” Nugent warns in a video clip captured by Media Matters.
The inflammatory remarks come just one week after he accused the student survivors of February’s Parkland, Florida, shooting of having “no soul.”
But Nugent doesn’t stop there. He tells Alex Jones, “So come to that realization,” he continues. “There are rabid coyotes running around. You don’t wait till you see one to go get your gun. Keep your gun handy, and every time you see one, you shoot one.”

The NRA with supporters like this don't need enemies. He is their Trojan horse. Glad they are being exposed for what they truly have become. It is their own fault.

Witnesses present when Ted issued this threat declaration, report he was actually foaming at the mouth as those angry words dribbled from his lips. This prompted onlookers to question whether they should immediately get a rabies vaccine shot, or pull their concealed Glock and shoot Nugent.

This is tough. I try not to be a coastal elite. I'm not supposed to ridicule gun lovers. Not supposed to call them 'nuts'. Not supposed to imply that they are dangerous.
But then, a member of the NRA's board of directors calls for the assassination of half of our government,,,,,,

Sounds like Nugent would be very happy in Somalia, a country with no real government.
