Texas megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress, one of President Trump’s evangelical advisers who preached the morning of his inauguration, has released a statement saying the president has the moral authority to “take out” North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
“When it comes to how we should deal with evildoers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary — including war — to stop evil,” Jeffress said. “In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un.”

i attended one worship service at First Baptist a couple decades ago on Independence Day weekend.
There are serious First Commandment issues there. The opening of "worship" was the Pledge of Allegiance. At the end of the service the choir sang the Mormon Tabernacle Choir arrangement of the "Battle Hymn" as a 40 x 80 foot flag was unfurled at the rear of the platform, bringing the congregation to its feet in applause and vocal acclamations.
Clearly, the United States of America was the object of worship. Not God. Not Jesus.
It was sickening.
So I am not at all surprised by this warmonger....but I'm sickened all over again.

Good points made,Tarnation. Maybe Jeffress would volunteer to lead a group of evangelicals to North Korea to take out Kim Jong Un for us.

Has anybody in history ever gone off to kill his fellow man who did NOT believe that God was on his side?
