IF Toomey looses in PA, what do you think will be the most contributing factor. Might it be wanting to get rid of the current crop of politicians ? His tepid support of Trump ? His lack of real condemnation for Trump ? Other ?
The polls are leaning in McGinty's favor right now, but it is really too close to call.
That she is even in the running says something is going on here (I HATE to use Trump's catch phrase). Toomey has not done anything big wrong, yet he is not looking like he has a lot of backing. The question is WHY.

I can't speak for anyone but myself Tennyson, but based on Toomey's voting record these are the reasons I do not support his re-election because of his verifiable stances on these issues. His position as stated:
Pro life voting record
Supports elimination of corporate taxes
Anti civil rights voting record
Voting record favors more prisons, more prison sentences, and less emphasis on rehabilitation
Anti public education voting record
Strongly supports offshore drilling, ANWR drilling, & Marcellus Shale exploitation
Against development of alternative energy sources
He voted to limit EPA regulations and enforcement on big oil
He claims global warming may exists but it is not due to human activity
Voted against protecting ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes ecosystems
Spotty record on International relations issues
He took the "no pork pledge" but still engages in earmarks and support of legislation that contains politically partisan hidden agendas
Voted against banning high capacity clips & assault style weapons
Voted against allowing citizens to sue & prosecute gun manufacturers & sellers for gun misuse
Voted in favor of Medicare cuts
Rated 25% by APHA indicating an anti public health voting record
Voted to extend and expand the Patriot Act
Voted in favor of banning homosexuals from serving in the military
Voted to withhold designated funding from sanctuary cities
He is a self proclaimed member of the Tea Party
He is rated 20% by Association of Retired Americans indicating an anti senior citizen voting record
Supported privatization of Social Security
Those are my reasons for not voting for Toomey in the upcoming election purely based upon his voting record, actions, and statements on issues that he has made. I realize that other people may vote for him because they favor his position on these issues, but, call me highly skeptical, I think most people base their vote purely on the party affiliation, the biased misrepresentations of the negative ads on TV, or the greatest number of candidate's signs in their neighbor's yards, rather than the candidate's actual record on the issues. One of my biggest beefs about Toomey is that he continually sends out e-mails, letters, fliers etc. touting his bi-partisanship in the senate, however, those events are basically joint resolutions on agreeing to declare Wednesday as national pizza day rather than reaching across the aisle to cooperate, collaborate, and compromise on substantial legislation that will benefit the majority of his constituents.

Well, rongone listed 22 reasons why I won't be voting for this guy. I don't give a rip whether he endorses Donald Trump or not.

I guess I forgot how close the vote was last time against Sestak.
So, I guess I am then not surprised how close it is now.

I wish Sestak would have defeated McGinty in the primary, because he was someone who showed that he would have been a disruption in the Senate.
Outside of McGinty being able to check off the standard boxes that come along with being a Democrat, someone make the case for her. She comes off to me as sort of a blank slate that just sort of was put up by the PA Dems because she had the right connections.

I suggest these two websites for any voter seeking information on candidate's positions on issues and to learn more about their background:
