Gas prices down around York are up around $.09 today over last week as oil prices are quickly approaching $50.00 a barrel.

The former Hess station in Newberrytown went down to $2.19 from $2.25 the other day but overnight it went from the $2.19 up to $2.35.

A slight uptick from hurricane anxiety and the Columbus Day weekend....Rutters on I-83 now up 4 cents to $2.39.

Rutters generally run about $.10 above almost everyone else. The highest I saw around York today was $2.35--most at $2.29, a few still at $2.25.

NJ raising its gas tax by $.23 a gallon, lowering the sales & estate taxes and making other adjustments. Gas will still be lower than PA & NY.
