Court rules Tom Wolf overstepped his bounds in firing

What do you all think of this? I'm not sure what to make of it, or how important it is, but at face value I would agree with the court.  If he was appointed legally, to a six year term, he should be entitled to serve that six year term barring any egregious acts that justify firing him.  Sounds like the makings for a hostile work environment for him though.  Talk about being put under a microscope.

Until Wolf or someone else reveals the reason for the firing was anything but political Wolf was wrong from day one and the court made the correct decision.

I understand Wolf's point. The 6 year term appointment was made just days prior to his taking office by outgoing Gov Corbett. It was a last minute political plum appointment which is unfortunately what happens in politics (on BOTH sides I might add)

Re: Court rules Tom Wolf overstepped his bounds in firing

Wolfie has been having a bad week.

First his State Police Commissioner nominee is voted down (after the Senate refused to allow him to withdraw the nomination), next this court ruling.

His only claim to fame for this week is having the first transgendered surgeon general in PA (possibly national) history.

I get that it was in all likelihood political, but this is politics, and like you've mentioned, both sides play it.  Just because the appointment was made days before Corbett leaving office doesn't make the appointment invalid or illegitimate.  A governor is still in power those final days before leaving office.
