    Costco and Amex

    I just heard that soon Costco will no longer accept American Express credit cards. Anybody know what the reasoning is?

    It might be that American Express charges a higher fee to the business that accepts them compared to visa or mastercard.  The Costco in Lancaster doesn't take any credit cards, only debit.
