    I think the Trump administration just set a new record.  Maybe they got tired of winning.

    Did she just have enough after the Kavanaugh thing? I doubt that that kind of morality still exists within the hearts of republicans.

    This is more likely a political move. It's a good time for Nikki to leave. She is one of the few Trump associates who - in 2018 - still has her pre-Donald popularity and reputation intact. A lot of people see a very ugly end for the Trump administration. Maybe Nikki figures that it's time to get some distance while the getting is good. Haley can make some serious money on the board of some corporation. When the crash occurs, she will be untainted and can eventually return to politics. There will come a time when republicans will desperately want to be seen as nonTrumpian and not only a party of angry white men.

    Heck, maybe after Graham gets to be AG Haley will run for his senate seat.

    We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
