Gee, I don't know. Won't you be punishing millions of law-abiding trench coat owners?
And, if someone really wants a trench coat, they are going to find a way to get one,,,,,

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Oh, now I see ...................access to guns isn't the problem, it's the clothes people wear.  I can see the bumper sticker now:  "Guns don't kill people, people wearing trench coats kill people"

Guess we need to ban raincoats, heavy winter coats, and a host of other apparel. Every time you think you have heard the last stupid idea this about this, someone comes along and adds yet another stupid comment.
