The NRA Speaks Out

This guy's quotes speak for themselves:

As the rally was getting underway, the NRA ― which was otherwise conspicuously silent on social media on Saturday ― shared another video on Facebook; this time of a clip mocking the march as a “carnival.”

The clip, which featured NRA TV host “Colion Noir” (a pseudonym for Collins Iyare Idehen Jr.), had first been shared on YouTube on Thursday with the title “A March For Their Lies.”

“From where I’m standing, it looks like a march to burn the Constitution and rewrite the parts that they don’t like in crayon,” Noir said, referring to the young activists leading the rally.

In another NRA TV clip posted Thursday, Noir had harangued the Parkland survivors, saying “no one would know your names” if someone with a gun had stopped the shooting at their school. “These kids ought to be marching against their own hypocritical belief structures,” Noir said, adding: “The only reason we’ve ever heard of them is because the guns didn’t come soon enough.”

Yeah, well, no one would know their names if an assaut weapons ban had prevented this maniac from launching the attack in the first place. And I'm sure that the kids would be happy about that.

"Colon" Noir is a repulsive creature in human form.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: The NRA Speaks Out

Here's what blows me away:

22% of Americans even own a gun.  Of that 22%, 3% own half of all the weapons in America.  And yet, so many of our politicians depend on NRA contributions to fund their campaign.  Isn't it freakin' time citizens who join the NRA thinking the NRA is looking out for them don't give a rat's carcass, or even need some membership from them?  The NRA represents the weapon manufacturers, not the 'Joe Blows' who join the organization for a lousy 50 or a 100 bucks per year actually thinking the NRA represents them.

The NRA wants your vote, not your crummy 100 bucks every year.
