Did Donald Kill the Bull?

After the big fall, the Dow is down 3.1% for the year and 9.99% from its January all-time high, which basically puts it back in correction territory, or a drop of 10%.

Dow tumbles more than 700 points as trade war fears intensify

This is the same guy that bankrupted a number of his own companies with his ineptitude and NOW he is taking us down the same path.

BTW, China is the largest foreign buyer of US debt vehicles (bonds, etc). Maybe they will just stop helping finance our debt. Currently they hold over $1 Trillion in such US debt obligations.

Re: Did Donald Kill the Bull?

China just announced $3 billion in tariffs on U.S. goods.

They also plan to take legal action against the U.S. under the WTO framework.

Big mouth bully Trump just cost all Americans a lot of money with prices on imported consumer goods from clothes to shoes to appliances destined to go up in cost, and exports from the U.S. like planes, equipment, and farm products to China will be hurt due to higher prices.

Remember that extra $1200 that Trump promised to all middle class Americans with his jobs and tax reduction plan? Well, it all just got flushed down the toilet. Plus, with his stupid tariff/trade war, demand for American exports will go down and that will lead to loss of jobs in the U.S. regardless of all the companies bringing jobs back to the U.S. (according to Trump). Lower demand means lower supply and production necessary which will probably lead to layoffs. And it sure didn’t help anybody’s IRA or 401K. Trump and his economic team led by Mr. Magoo (Wilbur Ross) are demonstrating that they are idiots.

Stock futures plunge, with the Dow heading for a 450 point drop, after China announces new tariffs

U.S. stock index futures tumbled ahead of Wednesday's open, as concerns over a potential trade war between the U.S. and China intensified.

Around 5:50 a.m. ET, Dow futures indicated a drop of more than 450 points at the start of trading in New York. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 futures also indicated heavy losses at the open for their respective markets.

Re: Did Donald Kill the Bull?

Trump, because of distorted view of business operations, believes that bankruptcy is part of the normal business cycle. Bankruptcy to Trump is just a way to stiff contractors, vendors, workers, employees, and even customers. He even believes it is a legitimate way to avoid paying taxes and stiffing the government.

He couldn’t care less about Americans living on a fixed income, like their IRA’s. Nor is he concerned about the increased cost of items due to his, Peter Navarro, and Wilbur Ross’s incompetency and absolutely stupid policies.

Re: Did Donald Kill the Bull?

It's interesting that so many people believe this guy is some kind of business genius.  He's gone bankrupt 4 times and done all the things to people rongone pointed out.  And, while we're on the topic, explain why no financial institution in the USA would float him a loan.
