The Trump Economy

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: The Trump Economy

The last recession ended in June 2009, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. In the six full calendar years since then (2010-2015), real annual GDP growth has never exceeded the 2.5 percent it hit in 2010.“The average growth rate for economic recoveries since the 1960s is 3.9 percent ranking the Obama recovery, with an average GDP growth rate of just 2.1 percent, among the slowest in history,” said Sen. Dan Coats (R.-Ind,), who chairs the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress.

Harwood seem to be nothing but a partisan hack!

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Sadly, you appear to be confused. You are citing annual GDP growth data, while the President  and Mr. Harwood are talking about quarterly GDP growth.

There is a big difference. In fact, it would be impossible to discuss and compare annual GDP growth under Obama and Trump at this point, as Trump has not yet been President for a year.

In light of these facts, it might be excessive to charge that  "Harwood seem(s) to be nothing but a partisan hack".
One might strive to be a more attentive reader, and a less enthusiastic name-caller.

Tennyson got the point. Trump routinely wildly overstates, well, everything.
