Congress can’t ignore broken government flood insurance

The article IMHO hits the nail on the head in a few key areas.

The main one in my mind is IF Federal flood insurance is now creating more of a problem than what it was intended to resolve by allowing more and more building (and sometimes not planned and substandard) in an area that should not be expanded because of its locality.

Re: Congress can’t ignore broken government flood insurance

Oh, I think that they can ignore it.
I have no faith at all that this Congress can make wise proactive moves on any front.
Healthcare, infrastructure, taxes, climate,, it's all a bust.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
