Hey I am calling 911 right now...... feeling lighted headed. No battle over a gun story?
I nice change of pace! Thanks Goose a true surprise!!

Let's go for broke and add a universal background check law to keep felons from buying a gun in the first place.
Please?

Also, I don't think that people convicted of a violent felony should ever have their gun rights restored.

I agree. But I would also add mental health evaluations should be required to obtain a gun.

I gotta say, I just have no warm and fuzzies for violent felons.
I just don't see why they should get guns rights restored.

Have to Agree with Jeerleader. That is exactly what the headline should read.

The story is people stealing guns.... No background check would stop that. Would it?

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Re: A Gun From Georgia Is Linked to a New York Officer’s Death, Again

Hey, if you are a law abiding citizen and want to buy a gun for sport,,, it's none of my business.
If you are a a law abiding citizen and want to buy a gun for protection,,it's none of my business.
If you are a a law abiding citizen and want to buy 25  guns because you are a collector,,it's none of my business.

But if you are a convicted felon, or insane, and you want to buy a gun, it IS my business.
Is this really something we could never agree on?
