At 36%, Americans give President Donald Trump the lowest six-month approval rating of any president in polls dating back 70 years, punctuated by questions about his competence on the world stage, his effectiveness, the GOP health care plan and Russia’s role in the 2016 election.
What to do? Go after the press, and your foe from last year.
It's an act that looks increasingly backward looking and ineffective
Trump Goes on Attack as Russia Revelations Appear to Take Toll
BEDMINSTER, N.J. — President Trump unleashed a new fusillade of tweets on Sunday morning, defending his son Donald Trump Jr., slashing the news media and tarring his long-vanquished opponent, Hillary Clinton.
After a leisurely Saturday afternoon spent at a women’s golf tournament at his club here, where he waved to the crowd from a glassed-in viewing stand, Mr. Trump awoke with a familiar list of grievances.
“HillaryClinton can illegally get the questions to the Debate & delete 33,000 emails but my son Don is being scorned by the Fake News media?” he tweeted shortly before 7 a.m. Forty minutes later, he posted, “With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country.”
In between those posts, Mr. Trump thanked people who had turned out to cheer him at the United States Women’s Open, which is being played at Trump National Golf Club despite calls from women’s groups for it to be moved because of his record of degrading behavior toward women.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

He's losing it. Almost too sad to watch, and if he were still running his reality show, I'd sympathize. But, geez, he's supposed to be running a nation and he's going gonzo. That's a whole new thing.
I remember when Ronald Reagan was 'losing it', but fortunately he was surrounded by competent, intelligent, knowledgeable people to guide the decision-making process. Look who Donald has surrounded himself with .................. need I say more?

There is something off-putting about a guy who is a billionaire, and the President of the United States whining that life has treated him unfairly.
Maybe he should visit a pediatric cancer ward.
Also, the material is getting old. Don't Trump or his people care at all about the future? Are we going to on forever about Hillary?
Rhetorical question. Of course he is. What else do they have, profound policy ideas? Don't make me laugh.

When your primary concern is enhancing your reputation and protecting your legacy, there are no boundaries. Even lies, blame, deflection, and revisionist history are acceptable methods to distort truth and preserve your ego.
Obviously Donald thinks he is good at this based on his tweeting tirades.
