This is just terrible……………
First the suspect was not shot and did not die!
He did have a weapon that was dropped and fired when it hit the ground.
This came close to causing another riot.
FOX news reported that the guy was dead??
Eyewitness are not reliable.
“watched it with my own eyes.”
“Police just got out of the car and started chasing the boy,” the woman recalled. “And then he ran down towards the Metro PCS, the officer got in the middle of the street and he shot that boy in his back in my face.”
Baltimore Police: Officers did not shoot a man in West Baltimore
BALTIMORE - An incident with an armed man nearly sparked another round of outrage in Baltimore Monday. A flurry of tweets and other social media messages speculated that a man had been shot in the back by Baltimore Police in West Baltimore Monday afternoon. Lt. Col. Melvin Russell said that was simply untrue.
Baltimore Police City Watch camera observers saw a man "clearly armed with a handgun" walking down the street, he said. When officers gave chase, the man's gun went off, Russell added. "There was the sound of the discharge, the sound of the weapon discharging," Russell said. Police picked up the gun, a revolver with three bullets and one spent round. Neither the man nor police were injured.

Posted a topic about this earlier. Glad you found some video account of it. I saw it on TV after a workout at the local YMCA. It is amazing how quickly bad information can change a scene. Actually rather scary.
There also was a Fox reporter on scene doing another report when this happened and they even got it wrong live on the Sheppard Smith Report (which is where I saw it that I reported on earlier) , but as they found out the real deal they then reversed their position and Sheppard apologized to the listening audience.

Too bad authorities cannot charge this woman with some offense. Can you imagine what could have happened in Baltimore City if her description of the event wasn't quickly disproved.
