I think that we can now have some confidence that a proper investigation will be conducted beyond the reach of the President's meddling.
I don't know what Mueller will find. I just believe that it will be fair.

Washington (CNN)
The Justice Department on Wednesday appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to oversee the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including potential collusion between President Donald Trump's campaign associates and Russian officials.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

A pretty fair and comprehensive assessment of the Trump presidency so far from The Atlantic. Lots of substantial failures and lapses by Trump and his staff that could provide verifiable leads for Mueller's investigation and lead to serious consequences for the president.
