Rudy Giuliani?
Jared Kushner?
Seriously, the next director of the FBI will be someone who agrees to end the Trump-Russia investigation.

Based on the way things go around the Trump White House, I'll say one of these bastions of law enforcement will be named as the next director of the FBI:
Bo Dietl former NYC police officer and Fox 'news' personality
Sheriff David Clarke current sheriff of Milwaukee County Wisconsin
Sheriff Joe Arpaio former sheriff of Maricopa County Arizona
I'm pretty sure all thre of them would follow the Trump code of ethics and deserve the respect of all the agents in the FBI.

Neither "team" liked Comey, but that said, to fire a person that has an active investigation that might impact yourself our your Administration is beyond the pale. Let's hope the voting public has enough of this crap in the next 2 and 4 year go arounds. Right now a lot of the Congressmen are dreading coming back to their constituents for a number of reasons. I imagine a lot of the sheeple are still not catching on but more and more the tide is rising against this President and his ways. The question might be will he take the rest of the GOP down with him. We will find out.

I predict Omorosa will be the choice.
Seriously though, this is the time for Senate republicans to unify around shredding partisanship and tell Trump that until Sessions appoints a special prosecutor, they won't consider any nominee for FBI director.

The only way we will ever find out the truth about possible trump-Russia connections is if the investigation is conducted by someone that Donald Trump cannot fire.
