What Would you do?

I have the same question. If Donald Trump wants to differentiate himself from Obama in regards to Syria, he needs to stop talking about Obama, and show us what it is that can possibly be done.
Words are fine, but actions determine a president.

Russia challenges Trump to say what he would do about Syria

Moscow (CNN)Russia has challenged President Donald Trump to set out his strategy on Syria after he declared that an apparent chemical weapons attack had transformed his views on the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

Trump, who has previously argued against removing Assad from power, said Wednesday's attack on a rebel-held town in Syria's Idlib province was a "heinous" act that "crossed a lot of lines for me."

From airstrike to aftermath: How a chemical attack in Syria unfolded

But Trump did not offer any details of how US strategy on Syria would change. Nor did he directly criticize Russia, which has stood by Assad in the face of worldwide condemnation of the attack that killed at least 86 people, including 26 children.

Trump's Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, said on Wednesday there was "no doubt" that Assad was responsible for the attack and called on Russia to "really think carefully" about its continued support for the regime.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: What Would you do?

Saying and doing are many times two different things.

Syria politically right now is a mess with its current involvement with Russia and Iran. IF we attack Syria we are really also potentially indirectly attacking Russia and Iran. It will be interesting to see how Trump and the Administration try to deal with all of this.

Welcome of the complex world arena, Mr Trump. It is NOTHING LIKE the boardroom !

Trump launches military strike against Syria

Probably the only good alternative (striking the airfields that likely carried  out the chemical attacks). This also is likely NOT to produce much flack from the D-tribe as Clinton hours earlier proclaimed that this is what we should do also.
