Let's hear what the R-tribers know of the situation in Yemen and the competing forces there. 

Looks like just a mini-Iraq to me with the outcome (IF we choose to engage actively) sucking us into another no-win situation. 

Yemen had been in a civil war for the last couple of years. So far the death toll has exceeded 10,000.

The time has to come when we realize sticking our nose into a civil war is a really bad idea.  Sure, it's a  move benefiting the weapons industry and related businesses, but is that what we're all about?  Sometimes the factions involved in a civil war have to work it out on their own.  I agree with Tennyson that we should have learned our lesson from the mess we got ourselves into in Iraq.

This is an indication of the Trump administration's attempt to quell the message that they're all talk and no action. So, they take any action available to them to shout out that they're going to be tough.

This also distracts people from discussing their failures like the Yemen raid, not realeasing tax returns, security leaks, inability to staff the administration with experienced, knowledgeable people, close ties to Russia, inability to devise and put into action viable plans that will help solve problems of concern to the majority of Americans.

In short, a typical macho bullying tactic to override others and hide weakness with absolutely no concern for the consequences of this bluster.
