A couple of things off the top of my dome:

1.  It's hard, even for his supporters, to evaluate and defend Donald Trump's performance since he speaks in very, very vague terms ............ things are 'tremendous', some guy he appoints is an 'outstanding choice', there's going to be so much 'winning' we're going to get tired of winning, we're going to 'make America great again', there's going to be 'love everywhere', etc.

2.  Let's suppose a past president surrounded himself with 'yes men', does that mean it's ok for the guy you support to do the same thing?  I thought the whole idea was to strive to become better, not to justify your destructive behavior because some guy before you did the same thing.

Good point.
I recall when Trump executed his travel ban. He was criticized for, among other things, having the ban apply to 7 countries that have not had residents launch a fatal attack, while excluding countries that did.
Team Trump's justification was that Obama had singled out those 7 countries earlier.

Aside from the charge being untrue, it offers a real head scratcher. The entire premise of voting for Trump was that he was going to undo all of the awful things that Obama had done. Executive orders? Repealed on day one. Obama care? Yuge disaster, gonna repeal it. Foreign policy? Disaster. Gonna start winning again.

Ok,,,,, so the first time they get challenged, the Trumpers claim that they were just following Obama's lead?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
