It is impossible to reason with someone that looks at lies and calls it something else. My suggestion is stop trying. The people who like Trump are looking for a saviour, but it is interesting that on one hand they disregard his lying yet think that all his promises to help them will magically come true. I wonder when they don't happen if they will say it was just an "exaggeration" ? 

This is an interesting point.
In supporting a serial,,,,,um, exaggerator,,,,,, one runs the risk that the wonderful things he promises to his fans are just as much  "exaggerations" as are the imaginary illegal voting crisis, the murder rate,,,,etc.
I wonder if the average Trumper is smart enough to consider that.

2) So, you agree that a person that substitutes excuses for facts in the case of falsifying facts (actual numbers vs. made up numbers) is not exaggerating, but is really lying. Right?

2) So, your 13 year old comes home from school and you ask how they did on that big ethics test they took the other day. "I aced it dad. Yep I got 100% on it." The kid responds.

"Good job", you reply.

Then, a couple of days later, you get notified by the kid's teacher that the kid flunked . . . got only a 40% on the test.

Now, did your 13 year old lie to you . . . Or did he just exaggerate his test score?

I answered your 2nd question, no it's not an exaggeration, so what? As for your first question, do you think I work for Trump? How the hell do I know what he plans to do? What I do know is terrorists are trying to infiltrate the refugees and the Syrian rebels may have passport machines so if you care for your fellow Americans at all, you should not have a problem with any attempt to make sure terrorists don't get in.
