No duh, he would have been out of a job had it been trashed ! (I am assuming he will get passed the nomination process).

I would have put this in politics, but it is really more JUST FOR FUN given the irony of the statement.

I love Perry's statement:
"After being briefed on so many of the vital functions of the DOE I regret recommending its elimination".

In other words Perry wanted to get rid of an agency before he knew what it did.
Brilliant.
Of course, if you are running for the GOP nomination for president, your target audience does the same thing from their easy chair everyday.
