Re: Off to a Poor Start

Anyway, this is the salient point;
Trump has not rallied support beyond the base that helped hm win in November.
His transition will not be a unifying moment, but rather a continuation of the polarization of the election.

Now one can argue that it's the fault of bitter democrats, the press, or trump himself. One can point out that the people are fickle, polls change, etc. one can speculate that trump will not be bound by polls. All fair arguments.

But the numbers are the numbers. (Unless you are trump and all polls - except the ones in which he does well - are rigged.) trump will enter office will historically low support. It is what it is.

My own opinion is that Trump has Not "failed" to win broader support. He has not even tried to get it. Trump seems to want to be the president of his base, and his base alone. He intends to stay in election mode forever.
We will see if that works, or if he develops a new strategy.

Big deal.
Some things Il Duce deserves particular condemnation for, his hamfisted, amateurish attempts to conduct foreign policy before he's even sworn in. We have one president at a time, and trump's behavior is a disgrace.
Any bad press the man gets, he deserves. The cult should stop crying about it, and tell their guy to get his act together.

I think the Clinton cult should back off a bit and stop looking for every little trivial thing to complain about. Bully ethics watchdogs? Are you insane? He tweeted his disapproval of the GOP trying to defang the ethics committee. Maybe you should broaden your source of news. II Duce, well, that is a step back from the typical Hilter insult. How about seeing what he does when he's actually in office before declaring he's the anti-Christ? I will admit, some of his tweets are immature. He could get back at his critics without looking like a fool.

I can assure you that I am quite sane.
How about you, because you seem a bit out of control?
Tim, your anger is misdirected. The numbers are the numbers.
Trump's behavior is his behavior.
I don't create these things. I merely take note of them
You may not want to see these things, but I am doing nothing wrong by taking note of them.
Your guy is taking office with low numbers. Not my fault.

If Trump doesn't want to be seen as he is being seen, he should change his behavior.
And, no, I'm not going to wait until trump takes office because he is already trying to conduct foreign policy, economics, and taking credit for job creation.
Trump didn't wait for the inauguration, so neither will I.

I should broaden my sources?
Didn't you just mistakenly claim that the 'MSM' didn't cover trumps remarks on the senate vote on drug prices?
You should get a mirror.

I think when he starts acting Presidential vs acting like a man-child THAT would be a great start in being a President of all the people.

True, we have yet to see what his policies will ACTUALLY do. Some of the things he has "floated" thus far, however, are truly scary both economically and from a peace standpoint for not only us but our allies as well.

So far it is hard to separate what the man MIGHT be from his antics.

You said "trying to bully ethics watchdogs and the like" when he criticized the GOP for trying to defang the ethics committee. All those MSM sites you mentioned are not MSM, instead they are the alt right or other internet sites. I have yet to see it on the TV or newspaper which is MSM. And do I have to add a disclosure that I don't watch Fox so I don't know if they showed it? No doubt that Trump's number will decline since many of his votes were more anti-Clinton vs pro-Trump. I'm not concerned about his approval rating until he takes office and actually starts running the government. Then I'll see if he deserves all the criticism.

Come now, Tim.
The MSM sites I mentioned were
The Washington post
USA Today
US News and world report.
Reuters
Huffington post
Miami Herald.

They will be distressed to learn that they are part of the Alt Right.

This is getting embarrassing.
Tim, you just can't make stuff up and get away with it.
You're no Donald Trump
