Republican Congresswoman Discovers Her Followers Love Obamacare
She conducted a Twitter poll. It didn't go the way she wanted.

With Republicans convinced they need to repeal Obamacare ASAP but unsure of how they want to replace it, Rep. Marsha Blackburn issued a public plea for help on Tuesday. The Tennessee Republican—and member of President-elect Donald Trump's transition team—asked the Twitter masses to take a poll on whether they like the law. Turns out Blackburn's followers are pretty big fans of the Affordable Care Act, with 84 percent of the 7,968 votes opposing a repeal of Obamacare.

Online polls are hardly scientific. But the GOP's hopes to make Obamacare magically disappear without having to offer a replacement took a serious hit on Tuesday, when the American Medical Association—the country's largest organization of doctors—wrote a letter to congressional leaders demanding that any tweaks to the health care law ensure that the 20 million people who gained insurance under Obamacare don't lose coverage. That request would be impossible to meet under the various proposals floated by Republican politicians so far.

At this point it does not matter. Changes are coming to Obamacare. Soon, very soon.
Who responded to the poll? People can respond and not be a follower. Right? Yup.......
Just some very wishful thinking!!

I just found it amusing that the dufus didn't realize anybody can respond.
BTW, would the poll have been more,,,,, scientific, if it only applied to her followers? LOL.
I understand that the story doesn't rise to the level of importance as a thread on, say, a Harvard professor threatening to leave the Democratic Party.
Hmmm, it appears that we've gone from "Obamacare will be repealed on day One", to,,,,,,,,,,,, "Changes are coming to Obamacare".
Hilarious!

The 'new' plan (whenever it happens) needs to be labeled "Trumpcare". Are we all ok with that?

Truth be known the Republicans and Trump do not have any new plan so all the talk of repealing the ACA is just that. According to Sen. Shuster any changes they may eventually attempt to make in ACA will affect people's Medicaid, Medicare and will throw the entire health care system into chaos, including people's private insurance which includes yours and mine.

By the way, Rep Blackburn says that one reason Obamacare is a failure is because the promised Medicaid expansion isn’t happening.
When a Journalist pointed out that Blackburn’s own state has blocked Medicaid expansion from happening, Blackburn responded, Damn right! No way would we ever let Medicaid expand!
