A Two Trump New Years
Donald Trump issued TWO New Years messages to the American people.
The first Tweet (What else would it be?) was petty, taunting, and mean spirited.

Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don't know what to do. Love!
Then, I guess his handlers got a hold of his cell phone and sent a second, more inclusive message:

Oh well, he got it on the second take.
In the spirit of the season, let me say,

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Does this guy realize he is to be president of the entire country, not just his followers or the people that voted for him? At some point he has to come to the realization that more people voted for someone else.

Does this guy realize he is to be president of the entire country, not just his followers or the people that voted for him? At some point he has to come to the realization that more people voted for someone else.
Trump doesn't realize this. And neither do his followers.
But, sooner or later they will come to understand.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
