New Mexican restaurant to open in Shrewsbury
For everyone who travels to or from Southern York county and enjoys Mexican food. A new restaurant will be opening in February.I have not eaten at a Echo Frezco but it sounds good.
New Mexican restaurant to open in Shrewsbury
A popular Mexican restaurant chain in Maryland is planning to start its newest concept in Shrewsbury.Écho Frezco is expected to open at 634 Shrewsbury Commons Ave. in February, David Carrillo, CEO of Chicanos Management Company, said. It will open in the former Spataro’s Restaurant property.“It’s a brand new concept that was created by myself and Chicanos Management Company,” Carrillo said.Joy's Cafe to open York Township shop He called the restaurant a traditional "Cocina Mexicana" — a Mexican kitchen featuring familiar dishes like fajitas and burritos.
The Shrewsbury location will open without a liquor license, but Carrillo hopes to acquire one in the future.The Shrewsbury restaurant will be the first of three Écho Frezco locations to open in 2017. The company will open Maryland locations in Forest Hill and Hunt Valley.Chicanos Management Company operates La Tolteca, a Mexican restaurant chain with stores in Maryland and Virginia. The new brand, Écho Frezco, gives Carrillo some creative freedom he doesn’t have with La Tolteca.
