Attorney Harasses Ivanka Trump and Family on Jet Blue Flight
Ivanka Trump and her family were harassed on a flight departing from JFK, headed to Palm Beach, Florida.Before the flight departed JFK, a Brooklyn attorney, Dan Goldstein, and fellow passenger yelled, “Your father is ruining the country. Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private,” TMZ reported. He was holding a child while carrying on.
Ivanka Trump just had a bumpy start to her Xmas holiday … an out-of-control passenger on her flight began verbally berating her and “jeering” at her 3 kids. Ivanka was on a JetBlue flight leaving JFK Thursday morning with her family when a passenger started screaming, “Your father is ruining the country.” The guy went on, “Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private.”
The guy had his kid in his arms as he went on the tirade.A passenger on the flight tells TMZ Ivanka ignored the guy and tried distracting her kids with crayons.JetBlue personnel escorted the unruly passenger off the flight. As he was removed he screamed, “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?!!”BTW … Ivanka, her family and bunch of cousins were all in coach.Lasner is a professor at Hunter College.After they were escorted off the plane, Lasner changed his story, saying his husband expressed his opinions calmly:
Lasner’s Twitter account appears to have been deleted, as have the tweets.Jet Blue escorted Goldberg off the flight and later released a statement saying:
“The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”
Think what you will about someone’s politics, but harassing a family and their children over their political beliefs is in no way acceptable.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Yea, I saw the story.
A guy got abusive on a plane and Jet Blue removed him.
So, today's lesson, don't get abusive on an airplane.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

The guy deserved to be kicked off.
The question is just why is Ivanka traveling Jet Blue ? Seems like all she is doing is opening herself up for this possible harassment. Celebrities get it all the time in one form or another and because there is SO MUCH animosity still left from the recent election, I thought she would have been a little smarter than this.

No, the real question is why did this person think it was ok to verbally attack someone who did absolutely nothing to them? Why are we questioning and blaming the victim? Celebrities and famous people have every right to fly commercial and try to live their life like a normal person.

I don't think that "we" are blaming the victim.
Tennyson is just pointing out what many celebrities have noted in interviews over the years. Once you are recognizably famous nutballs will be drawn to you, and they aren't all nice.

It was wise to get the jerk off the plane ASAP because the situation only would have escalated and then what? They're 30,000 feet up in the air.

They are in the realm of celebrity status now and they WILL draw nut cases. To be clear there are nut cases on all sides of the aisle, both conservative and liberal and in every aspect of society.
Ivanka and her family will learn (OR face similar situations again).
