How does the Trump victory compare with past elections

From the article  Trump's victory is not, as he has described it, a landslide.

Also from the article-- Clinton won 48.2% of the vote to Trump's 46.2% -- a lead of more than 2.8 million votes and more than 2% as of Friday, with that lead expected to grow as the final ballots are tallied.

Landslide!

A lie repeated often enough becomes the truth.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
