Just read that Nancy Pelosi had retained her position as Democratic House Minority Leader. She staved off a challenge from Ohio Democrat Rep. Tim Ryan.
While I have nothing against Pelosi, it is far beyond time for a major shakeup in the Democratic hierarchy in the Congress and in effect, nationally.
Since they lost the House majority in 2010, Democrats have continued to lose seats until this year, when they only picked up a paltry seven seats.
With 2018, the Dems have an opportunity to pick up several governorships, state houses, and more seats in Congress.
Instead they're going down the same old tired path with the same old tired captain.
If you think Trump will do poorly as president, as I do, now was the time for fresh faces and fresh ideas.
It's a damn shame.

I would have asked Bernie Sanders who he recommended for this role and would've voted for him/her.

Has Bernie been silent on this? I've not seen any comments from him.
