Re: What a Class Act

Something I really liked in hearing about this story this morning is that across the board, news organizations have said repeatedly that there is no proof that there have been millions of illegal votes cast and that the origin of the story comes from InfoWars, the Alex Jones site that most famously called 9/11 an "inside job" and said that Sandy Hook was a staged hoax.

So I offer this solution to Mr. Trump:

If you have proof that there was massive election fraud in the amount of millions of votes, please bring us the goods.

The American people have a right to know.

Otherwise, shut up.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

Exactly.
I can offer up a theory that aliens killed JFK. But, absent some evidence it's just a crank conspiracy theory.
And I am in the camp of those believing that it would be better for the republic if our President did not deal in conspiracy theories or take the word of Alex Jones.
Just a thought.

Re: What a Class Act

I still don't get this guy, Trump.  On the one hand he's all worked up over the possibility the election is rigged, then he says a recount of votes is cry baby, sore loser stuff, then he claims millions of voters were illegal, but offering no proof.  Well, if that's the case (that he actually won the popular vote) then why wouldn't he support a recount?  Weird dude.

Re: What a Class Act

Trump falsely claims 'millions of people who voted illegally' cost him popular vote

President-elect Donald Trump alleged Sunday, without evidence, that "millions of people" voted illegally for Hillary Clinton and otherwise he would have won the popular vote. It's an unprecedented allegation by a president-elect.

Russell's teapot, sometimes called the celestial teapot or cosmic teapot, is an analogy, coined by the philosopher Bertrand Russell to illustrate that the burden of proof lies upon a person making scientifically unfalsifiable claims, rather than shifting the burden of disproof to others.

Russell wrote that if he were to assert, without offering proof, that a teapot orbits the Sun somewhere in space between the Earth and Mars, he could not expect anyone to believe him solely because his assertion could not be proven wrong.

So, if one makes an extraordinary claim, it is up to them to provide proof that it is credible.
