Ryan is right about the mandate to govern.

Speaker Ryan recently said that the Republican Party has a clear mandate to govern. That is certainly true. With the Presidency and majorities in House and Senate THIS IS the time to actually accomplish something positive vs being the "party of NO" (perhaps the Dems will become that). Certainly IF they can be cohesive as a Party (that remains to be seen), they have an opportunity to make change (good or bad).

Don't confuse, however, a mandate to govern with a clear mandate from the people. That is a completely different story and ALSO needs to be addressed by BOTH sides of the aisle.
