No Surprises Here

Just who hasn't he threatened to sue?  The real hoot for me is his comment about the media printing something without fact-checking.  I didn't know he even knew that fact-checking existed.

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (CNN)

Donald Trump vowed Saturday to sue the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct in recent weeks.


"Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign," Trump said during remarks in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. "Total fabrication. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over."



He added that a "simple phone call" to major news outlets "gets them wall-to-wall coverage with virtually no fact-checking ever."

Once again Trump steps on his own message.
This was supposed to be a policy, "My first Hundred Days" speech, and the dummy spent the first 15 minutes raising the profile of his sordid past. Again.


We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Trump took one more opportunity and screwed it up royally. In reality by delivering the type of message that he did, it was a slap in the face of Lincoln.

Personally, I don't understand why Trump is even spending time in Central PA. He's got the York/Adams vote locked up.

He ought to be camped out in the Philly/Pittsburgh suburbs and up in Scranton. 

It makes no sense.

It makes no sense from a political strategy to be elected.

But it makes sense to the inflated ego of a self promoting narcissist craving the boisterous feedback from a totally supportive crowd. Especially at this late stage of the campaign with the reality of the polls seeping through to even his most ardent surrogate supporters.
